OUR EXECUTIVE
Crispin Murphy
Managing Partner
A 26-year veteran of MYRA and the IT industry, Crispin has been involved in computing since before kindergarten.
​
As Managing Partner, Crispin applies his business savvy and technical background to ensure MYRA and its customers operate at optimal performance. He is hyper focused on meeting customer needs and maintaining MYRA’s rock-solid reputation.
​​
Crispin’s successes include on-time, on-budget delivery, team building, risk management, and technical leadership.
When he’s not leading MYRA, you’ll find Crispin hanging with his kids on their acreage.
Trevor Murphy
Managing Partner
Even though he’s floated in Zero Gravity (yes for real) Trevor likes to stay grounded and focused.

Trevor has experience working with private sector and federal, provincial & municipal entities. He is proficient in governance, procurement, organizational transformation, communications, and complex contract negotiations. He has led teams of all sizes – scaling from small businesses to multi-national IT service providers. He helps guide our team’s long-term strategy.

Trevor’s candid, direct, and collaborative approach makes him easy to talk to and even easier to work with.
Hazel Arellano
Director of Finance
Hazel has a passion for baking, she’s especially known for her Bibingka, a traditional Filipino coconut rice cake.

Hazel is a Certified Professional Accountant with a wealth of experience. In her role as Director of Finance at MYRA, she is responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, generating insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

Hazel leads MYRA’s finance team with dedication and a collaborative spirit. She thrives in environments where where well-defined processes lead to meaningful outcomes.
Damon Hughes
Director of Strategy
Damon Hughes shreds a mean guitar. He’s also an experienced IT professional with nearly 3 decades in the field.
​
As Director of Enterprise Strategy he oversees the teams who provide secure, reliable, and scalable customized solutions for BC Government Ministries and Crown Corporations. ​With an Honors BSc. from the University of Guelph, Damon has worked in Hospitality, Gaming and Destination Marketing companies.
Damon brings a calm demeanor, strategic outlook, and collaborative approach to every engagement.
Clare Randell
Director of Enterprise Services
Clare is passionate about helping teams deliver complex projects with clarity and confidence. She leads with transparency, empowers others to succeed, and keeps customer success at the heart of everything she does.

Clare brings over 20 years of experience in project and service delivery, with a background that spans both public and private sectors. Clare is known for her calm leadership and her ability to build trust with clients and teams alike.

Outside of work, Clare is a proud mom of two boys and is a regular on the sidelines of the soccer field.
Ian Ralph
Director of Sales & Marketing
Ian's passion is to help organizations find technology that makes their lives better and new things possible. 
He has a wide range of experience across technical and business roles. He has helped numerous organizations discover their core value, grow their brand through Sales & Marketing programs that connect with their customers, and build operational excellence.

Michelle Izuka
Director of Projects
​Michelle’s passion is turning fast-moving tech into business solutions that actually work.

Michelle has spent over 25 years in IT, after starting out in public accounting and making a bold pivot into tech. Michelle’s strength is bridging the gap between innovation and real-world needs, making sure every IT move has purpose and impact. ​She’s a strategist, a connector, and a coffee-powered problem solver. She leads with clarity and calm, even when the pace is fast and the stakes are high.
Outside of work, Michelle loves games with friends, great books, and exploring new places around the globe.
Donato Martino
Director of Managed Services
With a passion for sailing and problem-solving, Donato has navigated the high seas of technology for over 20 years.
Donato likes building strong relationships with his clients and optimizing service delivery. Like a team of skilled sailors can navigate through any storm, Donato and his team are masters at solving clients' IT problems – no matter how big the waves. He sets his course towards success by understanding their needs, charting the best course and steering towards smooth waters. ​

Salman Almishari
Client Executive
Salman has worked in the IT industry for over a decade and has been with MYRA for over five years.

Salman’s real love is people and relationships. One of his passions at MYRA is working with clients to achieve their optimum goals in the most cost-effective way. He negotiates on behalf of clients and always tries to provide the best deals possible. And he does it all with a giant smile.

When an organization is looking for new or existing technology, Salman connects them with the right people and makes it seamless to find the best IT solutions.
David Pappin
Client Executive
David is an adventurer at heart, always exploring the great outdoors – whether it's mountains, oceans, forests, or golf courses.
With 20 years of experience, David has been helping clients achieve their business goals through technology. David excels at demystifying complicated ideas and has guided many clients through the realms of Security, Networking, and Cloud Computing.
While some salespeople merely push products, David pushes clients to discover the best technology solutions for their unique situations.
Faye Wardle
Finance Team Lead
Faye brings fun and enthusiasm to everything she does. She became a Director at a subsidiary for an International Merchant Bank at just 27, quickly advancing to Managing Director.
She eventually left that role, and her homeland, to embark on her "Canadian adventure" as she calls it. Her career spans customer service, call center operations, management, finance, and streamlining business processes.
Faye is a fan of true crime podcasts and crafting. She will tell you though, that her greatest accomplishment is her three wonderful sons.
Rebecca Bickham
Service Delivery Manager
Rebecca values hard work, resilience, and teamwork. She enjoys collaborating and loves to make a difference for her clients – both in and out of the office.

Rebecca co-founded a masonry business, gaining valuable skills in building and management. She used this background to transition into Project Management. At MYRA she helps keep our internal teams on track and helps our clients keep their projects organized and delivered on time.​

She enjoys bodybuilding, and going on adventures with her two children.
Clint McGuire
Principal Consultant
Cybersecurity
When not securing the world from cyber threats, Clint finds time to read a mountain of books, lift heavy dumbbells, and dodge allergies to play with his wife’s French bulldogs.
Clint is our top cybersecurity expert with deep knowledge of frameworks, strategies, threats, and tools. From audits to internal reviews and program design to software setup, he helps clients understand threats and build plans to stop attackers and reduce damage.
He puts security in perspective and tackles threats—before and after they strike. But Clint will tell you: before is better. Much better.
Carmela Villuga
Project Manager
Carmela has a knack for turning the mundane into the extraordinary. Whether she's executing a portfolio or just planning a weekend getaway, her enthusiasm is infectious.

With a rich background in project management across various industries, Carmela excels at balancing business and technology demands. Her extensive skills in business consulting, project management methodologies, and detailed project analysis drive organizational success.

Carmela is equally committed to her personal well-being. You'll often find her enjoying long walks or centering herself through yoga and pilates.
Jason Langlois
Service Delivery Manager
Jason started at MYRA changing backup tapes while studying at the University of Victoria. He is constantly sharpening his skills in UNIX, Windows, storage, support, security, and consulting.

With over 35 years in IT, Jason is a cornerstone in service delivery for MYRA clients, focused on helping them reach business goals while inspiring teams to deliver exceptional service. He’s passionate about adapting to client needs while maintaining process and accountability.
Jason’s interests span photography, writing, games, and miniature painting.
Carol Montenegro
Project Manager
Carol had a plan: pursue her MBA in Canada and go back to Brazil. Captured by the beauty of Vancouver Island she decided to put down roots.

She’s an experienced Service Delivery Manager and Project Manager with 15+ years in the IT industry. She knows the value of listening to the client, adapting plans to ensure that projects are solving problems, and creating value. Carol believes the best and quickest way to succeed is helping others succeed. And she’s really fun to work with!

Carol loves to meet new people, try new flavours, and experience different cultures.
David Martin
Digital & Creative Content Lead
David is a multifaceted professional who thrives on transforming ideas into tangible solutions.
In addition to degrees in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, and language translation, David has extensive experience in technical writing, editing, customized graphic design, layout and video editing and production. His core focus is on achieving measurable results that align with the client’s objectives and key performance indicators.
David believes that the best way to understand change is to actively participate in it.
Anastasiia Nesterova
Bookkeeper
Anastasiia came to Canada from Ukraine, with her a Master’s degree in Economics and a passion for precision.
She is a dedicated bookkeeper currently working toward her Canadian CPA designation.
With over eight years of experience in the IT sector -ranging from small start-ups to multinational corporations - Anastasiia applies her expertise to keep financial records as orderly as she keeps her own home.
Grateful to call British Columbia home, she treasures living where the mountains meet the sea, and both can be enjoyed in a single day.
Josh Benford
Service Delivery Manager
Josh’s journey has taken him across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, but he ultimately returned to Victoria, BC, drawn by its natural beauty and calm climate.

With nearly 20 years in the tech sector, Josh has built deep expertise in networking, telecom, and troubleshooting. He’s led teams, delivered training, and supported clients both in person and remotely. His calm, methodical approach helps turn complex challenges into smooth solutions.
​
Josh finds balance in nature, regular workouts, and games that test his problem-solving skills.
Devon Kitto
Inside Sales Rep
Devon earned a black belt in Hung Gar Kung Fu at 17. She brings a creative spark to the sales team, blending her artistic roots with a love for structure, organization, and colour-coded precision.

With experience in 3D modelling and web development, Devon understands the value of clean data, secure systems, and well-managed files.
​
Outside of work, Devon creates comics, illustrations, and tattoos, crafting over 20 custom pieces. Known as “Tenacious D,” she’s the team’s go-to for keeping things on track.
Ricardo Oliveira da Silva
Senior Technical Analyst
Ricardo is a process-driven Microsoft Specialist who helps businesses stay safe, reliable, and productive through smart, secure technology.

With a diploma in Information Security and experience supporting global companies, Ricardo brings deep technical knowledge and a proactive mindset to every challenge. He’s known for solving problems with precision, leading with accountability, and always following through.

Friendly and committed, Ricardo treats every issue as if it were his own, working with patience and care until resolved.
Gary Heft
Network Architect
Gary has a passion for dad jokes that's only rivaled by his zest for problem solving.
With a plethora of certifications across the gamut of industry leaders like Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Citrix and Fortinet, he has a thirst for knowledge and a rare technical background that lets him see the full picture when it comes to our clients' networks and applications.
He's been in the industry for over 20 years, and he's most comfortable with one foot outside his comfort zone. He'll never say no to taking on a complex design project or technical puzzle.
Glenn Vaags
Technical Analyst
Glenn once considered treasure hunting, but found the digital world had better loot, and fewer pirates.
​
He’s fluent in M365 administration, cybersecurity, and keeping systems running smoothly. Whether he’s fixing email, explaining quantum computing (sort of), or recommending the best pizza in town, Glenn brings honesty, collaboration, and curiosity to every conversation.
​
Outside of work, he explores Vancouver Island with his 80-pound sidekick Ricky—part shepherd, part husky, part ridgeback, and part anxious mess.
Jamie Kitto
Sales Coordinator
Based in Pictou, Nova Scotia, Jamie is known for living life on the edge, whether it's racing motorcycles or skydiving.
This same focus and determination are evident in Jamie's professional life. With extensive experience in IT Infrastructure Administration and Management, as well as expertise in Designing and Implementing various IT systems, Jamie has earned the nickname "Solutions Guy."
Jamie's commitment to excellence extends to Project Management and Sales Coordination. His ultimate goal is customer satisfaction, when the client's happy, so is Jamie!
Steve Switzer
Programmer/Business Analyst
Steve started his journey with MYRA fresh out of university and has spent the last 35 years here. We’re so lucky to have him on our team!
Steve has an array of coding languages and platforms, from Cobalt on a Wang to Power Platform on Microsoft. His dedication to staying updated with the latest technologies is unwavering.
Steve enjoys jewelry smithing, singing Flamenco, and owning crazy dogs...all at the same time. Steve starts every meeting with a Dad Joke (Did you get an email about how to read maps backwards? It’s spam.)
Michele Stone
Business Analyst
Michele’s passion is turning complex business needs into streamlined solutions.

With a CCBA designation and experience in process improvement and change management, she’s helped implement tools such as ConnectWise Manage and Sell. Michele is known for her strong ability to guide cross-functional teams. She’s a thoughtful collaborator who brings clarity and care to every project.

Michele enjoys hiking, lifting weights, traveling, entertaining, and spending time with her grown kids and their spouses.
Francisco Rullán
Service Delivery Manager Lead
Francisco has a passion for making complex technology simple. Originally from Mexico City, he now calls Vancouver Island home, balancing client solutions with a love for photography and the outdoors.
With over 25 years in IT, Francisco has guided teams through digital transformation, critical operations, and managed services for public and private sectors. At MYRA, he focuses on service delivery, clear communication, and building client confidence every step of the way.
Outside work, Francisco enjoys family time and exploring nature’s trails.
Michael Joyce
Technical Specialist
Michael is a third-generation Victorian with deep roots in the community. After traveling the world, he always returns home to Victoria.
With over 25 years in IT and more than 20 certifications, Michael began as an instructor teaching Windows and Networking, a passion that evolved into mentoring roles throughout his career. He has worked in retail repairs, SOHO support, enterprise environments, and now at MYRA, where he focuses on delivering reliable solutions.
Michael enjoys 3D printing, and is an avid gamer with a collection of 400 board games.
Matthew Moodycliffe
Technical Analyst
Matthew brings a strong foundation in IT support and cybersecurity to the service desk team.
After starting his tech journey with Geek Squad, he completed a Cyber Security diploma in Nova Scotia, gaining hands-on experience with tools like Wireshark and Kali Linux. Known for his friendly approach and dedication to client service, Matthew is passionate about solving problems and building lasting relationships.
Outside of work, he enjoys motorcycles, camping, gaming, and spending time with his two dogs.
Cathy McPherson
Business Support
You can count on Cathy to tackle challenges head-on and keep things moving forward. Her experience and dedication make her a go-to resource for colleagues and clients alike.

Cathy has been a trusted part of MYRA for nearly 28 years. ​
She began in order entry with the Sales team and now leads Business Support Services and Careers administration.
Outside of work, Cathy enjoys traveling in her trailer with her husband and energetic Cocker Spaniel, exploring Vancouver Island. She’s also an adventurous cook, always testing new recipes and waiting for the verdict.

Neil Chizeck
Technical Specialist &
Database Analyst
Neil’s passion for computing began on a Commodore 64 and grew into a lifelong technical career. After studying Computer Science at UVic, he developed an appreciation for UNIX and has followed that path ever since.
​
Over 32 years, Neil has worked as a programmer, Solaris sysadmin, and Oracle DBA. He’s a go-to resource for all things Linux - especially scripting, automation, and systems optimization.
​
Outside of work, Neil enjoys playing guitar, golfing whenever possible, and spending time in the beautiful Gulf Islands.
Lauryn Batista
Service Delivery Manager
Lauryn is a certified PMP with a passion for helping teams deliver transformation with clarity and purpose. She’s led infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and enterprise service rollouts—always with a people-first mindset.

Lauryn brings a dynamic background in tech and a steady, collaborative approach to every initiative. She’s known for her ability to coach teams through change while keeping delivery on track.

Outside of work, Lauryn finds joy in hiking forest trails, diving into fantasy fiction, and getting creative with DIY projects and new recipes.
Paul Chacon Montoya

Orginally from Costa Rica, Paul’s passion is helping people solve problems with calm, clarity, and a customer-first mindset.

He brings nearly 20 years of experience in customer service and technical support, having worked with both startups and global companies like Cisco and Bank of America. Paul is known for his steady presence under pressure, his proactive approach to challenges, and his ability to build trust with clients and teams alike.

He’s a lifelong football fan (the original kind!) and is currently learning tennis. Paul is always up for a new challenge.
Nimoy & Seven
CBO - Chief Barketing Officers
Nimoy and Seven share the CBO role at MYRA. These Barkvard educated pups are top pedigree and come with strong bone-a-fides.
They are top dogs for sniffing out business opportunities and fetching new sales, leaving our competitors running in circles. Their tail wagging has won awards and drawn fans worldwide. Recent innovations include mandatory belly rub breaks and a company-wide cheese tax.

CCO - Chief Cuddling Officer
Simon is a feline professional with a five-year track record in biscuit making and a penchant for strategic distractions during video chats.
His expertise in keyboard occupancy is unparalleled, ensuring no email goes unsent without his approval. His concern for your cuddling deficit is matched only by his commitment to his own comfort and achieving a high treat quota.
In his downtime, Simon is a connoisseur of long naps, always recharging for his next cuddle session or key-board meeting.

Meet Twead, our beloved “Chief of Treats” and resident tail-wagging enthusiast. A proud graduate of Barkvard University, Twead brings top-tier charm and a nose for fairness to the team.

These amazing people have spent a good portion of their careers with MYRA and are now enjoying retirement and "life after email". Jack Murphy
Founder [Retired]
Jack has over 36 years’ experience, leadership and innovation in the Information Technology field.
​
Jack’s been in IT since the 70s and founded MYRA Systems in 1985. He has always had a strong application development, technical and business background. Jack provided technology and business consulting to customers, and was responsible for managing MYRA’s service vendor relationships.
​
Jack led our team of over 50 employees at MYRA’s two offices in Vancouver and Victoria, overseeing delivery of Project Management services, Technology Infrastructure Management services, Consultative Sales and Technical Services for MYRA’s private and public customers. Jack holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
Barb Murphy
Founder [Retired]
Barb Murphy was the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary since MYRA's inception in 1985.
​
She was responsible for the financial and the administrative aspects of MYRA, ensuring the financial viability of MYRA, while overseeing the day to day financial functions. She also helped MYRA’s senior managers with various proposals, contract language review and development..
​
Additionally, Barb was involved in setting the strategic and philosophic direction for MYRA. Barb’s university background was in mathematics, as well as in education. She was a teacher prior to her involvement with MYRA, and she enjoys mentoring and assisting those around her. Barb’s hobbies include bridge, hiking, cross-country skiing, gardening, and spoiling her cat.

Britt Hilton

Britt Hilton wore many hats during his time at MYRA, playing a key role in helping the company grow and thrive.
Now retired, Britt's enjoying life spending time with his granddaughter, and spending plenty of time fishing and golfing.
All of us at MYRA wish Britt all the best in this well-deserved next chapter.
Rob Rabey

Rob Rabey was MYRA’s top sales guy, personable, fun, and always ready to help clients reach their goals.
His friendly nature made him a favorite among colleagues and customers alike.
We’re cheering Rob on as he enjoys retirement with his grandchildren, his guitar, and his tractor. He’s certainly earned it!
